O.K.
BLOGGER:
O.K.
Sooo... I'm on my blog kick again.
I actually stopped blogging on this
site because I would find my posts
moderated.
ME:
I'm in a different stage of my life
& I feel more responsibility to make
good music. I'm a lot more dedicated
to music in 2009 than I was in 2007.
2008 was a grind. I figure, if I work
equally as hard this year, at one
point, my artists will be happy and
so will I.
MUSIC INDUSTRY:
With so many dedicated beatmakers
in the industry right now, itz really hard
to take an artist from point A to point B.
I say that because when I hear the term
producer, I think GREAT.(Q.J./Tim/Mr. Davis/etc...)
But from the artist standpoint, album
production can be like going to the grocery
store. Each song has a a product from a different isle. My question is... Do albums suffer because of this?
VINYL:
I was listening to my "Midnight Train" on wax.
O.M.G... The whole album had 1 sound-
& I think, thatz hot.
With the digital age being implemented in
every studio(home or commercial) across
America, we've gotten away from the live-
1 take element. We've gained so much
more, though...
Handz off my vinyl, thatz rare.
Random thoughtz.
